Last week’s Touch-a-Truck event was a huge hit!
The whole community participated, from ice cream trucks to schoolbuses and everything in between! Our Zoomers worked double-duty as photo journalists, and they brought back some awesome pictures of the event! Take a look at how our Zoom family spent a sunny Sunday in May!

We pulled in at 10am, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!
Once we parked our service truck, bobcat, and dump truck, all we had to do was wait…
"If I could just reach the horn...one...more...time!!"
…for the families to pour into the lot!
The children came in droves to climb onto the trucks, and the boys especially loved “steering” the bobcat.

This little man was a natural behind the wheel of these big rigs!
He was so fast and focused on the bobcat that we had to wonder,
“Do we have a little apprentice on our hands?”
Meanwhile, another pint-sized service tech had a different idea…
Asleep on the job?
Is he dozing? Camera shy? Too cool for cameras?
We may never know the answer, but we do know this:
No one was too cool to honk the horn!
Our Zoomers along with the generous volunteers from other industries in our community were treated to a brilliant work of art entitled Variations on a Concrete Parking Lot, featuring a full orchestra of giggles and a chorus of carhorns. What a blast!

We are so thankful that our Zoom family had the opportunity to participate in a great community event, and hope that everyone whose trucks were explored, “driven,” and ultimately honked had as much fun as we did helping the Committee to Benefit the Children.
