13_Basement_Tech_LargeMachine_0015Fast. Fixed. Zoom.™

At Zoom, our technicians are formally trained in diagnosing drain problems and performing expert drain cleaning in our state of the art training center. Cleaning drains is our specialty and each of our technicians cleans thousands every year, more than the average plumber will clean in a lifetime!

Unlike many of our competitors who perform heating, air conditioning and other services, in addition to plumbing services— we specialize in drains and sewers. And while its admirable to be a “jack of all trades, it’s best for our customers that we be a master of one: drain and sewer services.

Electro-Mechanical Drain Cleaning

Zoom’s PowerSnake service works by using an electro-mechanical machine with a flexible steel cable or snake that rotates through your pipes with an attached blade. The blade helps dislodges blockages that occur inside of your pipes. Our PowerSnake service is used for almost all initial responses to clogged drains. It’s a fast and economical way of purging the clogged pipe, which allows the water to drain.

Whether it’s a sink, toilet, shower, tub, main line, or outside drain, we have the equipment and the power to do the job right! And that means you’ll be washing, rinsing and flushing again in no time.

Say goodbye to clogs. Drains so clean it’s like getting new pipes.

Grease, sludge, waste, tree roots and debris are the main causes of drain line blockages.Mechanical snakes punch through these blockages but they may not completely clean the drain line. Our high-pressure water jetting services can help you by:

  • Penetrating and emulsifying grease
  • Breaking up sludge and debris
  • Pulverizing roots
  • Cutting out hardened scale
  • Flushing out the system, leaving lines clear

How does Zoom-Jetting work?

A hose is propelled by water into the sewer line under high pressure. Powerful jets of water exit a special nozzle to clean the pipe wall and provide sufficient pulling power to pull the hose through the drain line.

Cleaner pipes mean fewer service calls and this means you save money!

37_Apartments_Tech_Jetting_Exterior_0006Planned Maintenance Programs (Focused Solutions)

We provide solutions that are specifically focused on the drain & plumbing emergencies you’ve had in the past so that we can help prevent them from happening again in the future. Regular cleanings will greatly lessen the likelihood of blockages, which can result in unsanitary backup conditions in your home or business.

Whether its ZOOM-JET cleaning of high use drains, bacteria & enzyme treatments for grease build-up or tree root treatments, we have monthly, quarterly and yearly planned maintenance programs available to fit your individual needs.

We offer discounts for regularly scheduled cleanings. And service can be scheduled for off-hours, nights or weekends, with no extra charges.

Drain Care Products

Bio cleanBIO-CLEAN is… a blend of bacteria and enzymes. The bacteria are natural, not genetically-engineered. The enzyme concentration is the most powerful on the market.

Bio-Clean is non-poisonous. It creates no heat, no fumes, no boiling. It does not attack live tissue nor inorganic materials, only organic wastes like grease, hair, food particles, paper, cotton & sewage. This makes BIO-CLEAN safe for people, plumbing and the environment. BIO-CLEAN changes the waste particles into water, carbon dioxide and mineral ash which run harmlessly out of your waste system. These elements are then available for plant life.

Within an hour after pouring the bacteria into the drain, the bacteria begin to eat their way into the waste that has accumulated on the sides and top of the drain pipe. This is their natural food. They digest the waste and spread throughout your system, cleaning it completely.

  • Residential and commercial applications
  • All drain and sewer pipes, including:
    • Kitchen Sinks
    • Lavatories
    • Bath tubs
    • Showers
    • Floor drains
    • Laundry drains
    • Septic tanks and drain fields
    • Garbage disposal odors
    • Grease traps
    • Sewage ejector sumps
    • Outdoor outhouses and cesspools
    • R.V. & boat holding tanks
    • Lift Stations
    • Cat Litter Boxes

In Nature all animal and vegetable matter, from insects to mighty oaks, is broken down and recycled into plant food by enzymes and bacteria. BIO-CLEAN uses this same principle to biodegrade animal and vegetable waste in pipes.

Like all living things, bacteria must eat to survive. Fortunately certain types of bacteria will use for food the grease, hair, soap film and all the organic waste that tend to clog peoples drains.

Enzymes act like short order cooks. They prepare food for bacteria by breaking large molecules down into a size the bacteria can “swallow.” Each enzyme works on one specific type of molecule. For example, the protease enzyme only works on protein. Lipase works only on fats.

The bacteria in BIO-CLEAN are dormant while in the jar. When mixed with water they come to life in about 30 minutes. In the meantime the enzymes are breaking down the waste. They are very fast. In fact, they work on contact. When the bacteria revive they are hungry. Each one eats its weight of waste every minute – and they never sleep! As a result of eating and growing they start to multiply through cell division. Their number will double every 30 minutes under favorable conditions.

BIO-CLEAN should be mixed with warm (not hot) water and applied when no water will be drained for six to eight hours. This allows some of the bacteria time to embed themselves into the waste so they won’t be washed out when water is drained again. Complete instructions are inside each container.

Periodic maintenance treatments prevent new organic waste build-up, so no more slow drains or clogs!

RootXKill pipeline roots—avoid costly repairs

Root intrusion may be the single most destructive element facing your home’s wastewater collection system. Left untreated, roots will spread throughout the pipe. Material passing down the drain gets trapped in the roots, restricting the flow or even causing a complete blockage.

Root intrusion can eventually destroy a sewer or septic system, costing thousands of dollars to repair or replace. We recommend annual RootX treatments to keep your system root free and avoid costly sewer and septic tank repairs.

The patented RootX formula foams on contact with water to reach the top of the pipe where 90% of the roots are. Degreasing agents strip away grime so the RootX herbicide can penetrate the roots, killing them on contact. RootX sticks to the pipe walls, preventing re-growth for up to three years. Dead roots decay over time, restoring pipes to their full capacity.

Tough on roots; easy on pipes
RootX kills roots using the aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil. It’s non-caustic, non-fumigating and non-systemic, and it contains no diquatdibromide, copper sulfate or metam sodium. RootX will not harm pipes, septic systems or above-ground vegetation (not for use in septic systems in the state of Florida).

EPA registration #68464-1
RootX is registered for use in all 50 states as well as Canada, and it’s classified as a General Use product by the Environmental Protection Agency. In addition, RootX carries the signal word CAUTION, the lowest chemical hazard rating according to the ISO 3864-2 standard for hazard severity panels.
