Nathan and Jenn Newlands, the dynamic duo behind Zoom Drain Twin Cities, bring a wealth of experience and a passion for business to the heart of the Twin Cities. Their journey to entrepreneurship is marked by dedication, hard work, and a shared vision to create a thriving company while making a positive impact in their community.

Nathan's story begins as an immigrant from Australia, a journey that laid the foundation for his remarkable career. He proudly served in the Royal Australian Air Force in logistics from 2006 to 2010, demonstrating his commitment to service and discipline. Following his military service, Nathan embarked on a thirteen-year journey in the world of small businesses, with a particular focus on service-based ventures.

Nathan's dedication to professional growth is evident through his pursuit of education and certifications, including a Franchise Management Certificate from Georgetown University, a Minnesota Landscape Association Leadership Certificate, a John Maxwell Leadership Certificate, and a Turfgrass Management Certificate from Georgia University.

In parallel, Jenn's journey is equally impressive. With twenty years of experience in service-based businesses, she has honed her skills across various roles, excelling in administrative, marketing, and development positions. Her keen attention to detail and dedication to customer service have been instrumental in her success. She is well-versed in office operations, financial reporting, accounts receivable management, and marketing strategies, encompassing both digital and traditional platforms. Jenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from North Central University, a Franchise Management Certificate from Georgetown University, and a Diploma of Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute.

Together, Jenn and Nathan Newlands have amassed 33 years of small business management experience, equipping them with invaluable insights into leadership, business growth, and employee development. Their belief in the importance of superior customer care, financial acumen, continuous learning, and employee mentorship forms the cornerstone of their business philosophy.

Their journey to becoming business owners is marked by a deliberate and thoughtful choice. After exploring over 13 different franchise opportunities and speaking with multiple franchisors, they chose Zoom Drain due to its professionalism, friendly disposition, and alignment with their prior experiences.

Jenn and Nathan are deeply connected to their community, having lived in Minnesota for the past 13 years, specifically in Carver for the last four years. They are passionate about the southwest metro community and actively participate in local activities. Their love for the outdoors, from hiking and biking to paddleboarding and cross-country skiing, reflects their appreciation for the natural beauty of the area. They are dedicated to giving back to their community through their involvement in local organizations and their church, River Valley Chaska, and now as the owners of Zoom Drain Twin Cities.
