St. Augustine’s Unique Drainage Challenges & Our Solution
St. Augustine’s historic buildings, sandy soils, and coastal conditions create drainage challenges that require an informed approach. Our solutions meet Florida plumbing codes and St. Johns County regulations, directly addressing issues like buildup from mineral-rich water, sand blocking yard drains, and overflow during intense downpours. Because we know the local climate and infrastructure, we tailor every service to prevent clogs from stormwater, roots, or common plumbing wear.
Flooding from storms or king tides can overwhelm exterior drains across St. Augustine. To help homes and businesses stay ready, we discuss seasonal maintenance steps and share ways to protect your system before and after hurricane season. Our ongoing communication keeps customers prepared, letting you handle local conditions confidently while keeping drains and sewers in good shape year-round.

Excellent job, quickly and professionally done, with excellent customer service and excellent price. Zoom Drain was actually recommended to me by other plumbers (who were not able to do the job). Another company who said they could do it quoted me a much higher price. Thank you, Zoom Drain!Barbara Joy Plattner

They came right away after we called. Had 2 major clogs in the lines. They had to really work hard and be persistent to get the clogged drains to free up. But he stayed right on it till he made sure there were no further issues. Toilet wipes were the main cause. Very reasonable price for the work and time he spent. Would not use anyone else if you have a clog.Steven Giannini

Dec 31 we had a toilet backup in the guest bathroom. Our normal plumber, who couldn't come, suggested Zoom and we could not be happier. Hunter Jones came out and assessed the situation. He also looked at our other drains and it was determined we had a major blockage in the lines. He gave us two quotes, one less than the other, which we appreciated. He took care of the blockage in the pipes and even cleaned the mess in the guest bathroom after. We were really impressed with his courtesy, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond. Cannot say enough good things about Hunter Jones and Zoom. Great job.Carol Godfrey
