While the name says Cincinnati, their shop and heart are based right here in Hillsboro—where they live, work, and serve their neighbors every day. Their focus is local, and their commitment is personal.
For Alex, the trades were more than a job—they were a calling. With Lannae’s support, he pursued a career where he could work with his hands, help his community, and build something lasting. Together, they’re growing a family business that will one day be passed down to Alex—continuing a legacy grounded in integrity and service.

We went to the basement this morning with innocent intentions: find the outdoor Christmas bins, turn on some Mariah Carey, pretend we’re organized adults. Instead, we opened the door and discovered a full-blown biblical event. Inches of standing water, and floating... sewage-filled surprises (I’ll let you use your imagination). A day reserved for rest—not wading through the River of Absolutely the Heck Not.
I immediately called Zoom Drain. Within AN HOUR (not exaggerating), they were here. I don’t know who trained them (actually I do, she’s a queen), but they deserve a medal. They showed up, didn’t flinch at the disaster, explained everything clearly, fixed the problem fast, and somehow made us feel like we weren’t the dramatic ones (even though I was absolutely one gag away from moving houses).
If you ever find yourself standing in surprise basement sewage—or anything even close—call Zoom Drain. Truly the best experience we’ve ever had with any service company. Fast, kind, knowledgeable, saved Christmas… and our sanity. 100/10 recommend.
