"Had a main drain clog and couldn't use my kitchen or bathroom for an entire day. I rented a 75ft 5/8" snake from Home Depot and tried plunging and snaking the line myself for hours trying to save money and had no luck. At 8pm a plumber offered to come for $1,000 and would charge the fee even if he could not clear the drain. Having left voicemails with multiple companies, I invited him to come out of desperation. He came with the same snake I used and said he would not be able to clear it unless he removed my toilet for a total of $1,300, and he'd have to come back the next day. He then quoted $30k if the line needed to be replaced and offered me to apply for credit before even inspecting the line. I declined his service and called another plumber who referred me to Zoom. I called Zoom and the plumber, Mike, came to my house at 11pm and cleared the line in minutes! By the time I realized he was outside, the line was clear. He even showed me the line using his snake camera, showing me some roots protruding into the drain. Zoom cleared the line, gave me information, and charged far less than the other plumber quoted. Wish I'd known about Zoom first!!! From now on, they will get my call first."
