Dan Is a Competent and Friendly Guy
Dan is a competent and friendly guy! We have a 1920 farmhouse with an addition on it from the 1950’s. We were having problems with the drainage and couldn’t figure out why and the layout of the pipes. Dan got on the roof and put a scope down the vents, and could tell us where the blockage is and what the risks were of blasting water in there vs. digging trenches to unclog. We really appreciate him being so knowledgeable about drainage systems. We’ll be using him for our farm on this project and more. Great guy.

My kitchen sink was seriously clogged, and all attempts on my part to find and/or clear the problem were unsuccessful. I called Zoom Drain on a Saturday evening and made an appointment for Sunday morning (no additional weekend charge - bonus!). Dan arrived on time, had the problem fixed in under an hour, gave me some tips on how to avoid having this happen again, and was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. If I could give him 10 stars, I would - yes, he was that good!

Great service on an extremely clogged kitchen drain. Caiden came out the day I called, assessed the clog, gave me options—lowest cost to highest cost, explained the pros and cons of each option, and performed the service that same day. I appreciated how hard Caiden worked to clear the difficult clog.
Overall it was an excellent experience. Pricing seemed reasonable, no sales pressure from Caiden, and I really liked that there was no fee for him to just come out and assess.

Dan and the Zoom Drain crew did a great job. Was having an outside drain issue with my downspouts that was backing up and flooding into our crawl space. They came out on Sunday night and we set up a plan for Monday. A few hours in, my drains were cleared out and we were able to mark them out, so I know where my system is running. Dan was great to chat with and knows his stuff.

Dan Nelson came and worked on a problem drain for me and was friendly, on time, very knowledgeable, did excellent work and cleaned up after himself. I would have given Zoom five stars but unfortunately, snaking then hydro jetting the drain did not work. The building is old, and the old drain was plumbed in a manner that will not allow modern snakes or hydro jets to access the clogged area. Because he couldn't clear the drain, he did the work for half price, which was little more than what a lot of plumbers charge for just showing up. He also recommended a plumber who can re-plumb the drain, which saved me the trouble of finding another plumber. I will definitely use Zoom Drain in the future.

Very straightforward, honest communication that made me feel completely at ease.
The pricing was transparent from the beginning. He gave me a clear breakdown of costs upfront, and I found them very reasonable for the quality of work and professionalism shown.
He was courteous, respectful of my home, and clearly knew what he was doing. By the end, the toilet was working perfectly, and I genuinely felt like I could trust him with any future plumbing issues.

Believe the reviews. Phil answered the phone and quickly got a tech scheduled on New Year’s Eve. He called back to report they were running late, and then checked back to make sure everything went OK.
Dan and Caden showed up within the original window time frame, quickly assessed the issue (drain clog), and then quoted a very reasonable price. I did get another quote that was higher and couldn’t get anyone out until two days later. As the work was being done, they kept the job area neat and contained. Dan spent some time talking about what they found and made some experienced recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
After the site was cleaned up by Caden, I paid the exact price quoted, and off they went, and my New Year’s Eve went along smoothly.
