Meet Phil Heron and Scott Webber

Phil Heron brings nearly two decades of experience managing blue-collar teams, most recently as a journeyman butcher where he earned All-Star status three times for leading in profitability, labor efficiency, sales growth, employee retention, and leadership. After briefly stepping into in-home solar sales, Phil decided it was time to take the next step—owning and operating his own business.

Scott Webber comes to Zoom Drain with a strong background in mechanical engineering and nearly 20 years as an account manager. With extensive experience in B2B sales and customer relationship management, Scott understands how to listen, solve problems, and deliver value through strong service.

Together, their skillsets complement one another—Phil’s operational leadership and team development paired with Scott’s sales expertise and business insight create a powerful foundation for success.

Phil and Scott explored the opportunity together after Scott first discovered the brand through a franchise coach. What stood out was the simplicity and focus of Zoom Drain’s business model, the company’s commitment to training and advancement, and the ability to build a team rooted in blue-collar values and service.

They were drawn to the resilience of the drain and sewer industry, the caliber of people who work in the trades, and the chance to provide a vital service to their community. As longtime professionals used to managing performance, hiring, training, and solving real-world problems, they saw Zoom Drain as the right fit to grow something meaningful.

Local Roots, Community Focus

Phil has lived in the Portland area for over 20 years and considers it home. Much of his community connection has grown through his children’s involvement in local sports and activities. His 10-year-old son is a three-sport athlete, and his 8-year-old daughter is working toward her black belt in taekwondo. Coaching his kids’ teams and building friendships with other parents has helped Phil become deeply rooted in the community.

Scott, originally from Seattle, moved to Portland in 2019 with his wife and young child to be closer to family. He immediately fell in love with the Pacific Northwest lifestyle—from skiing and backpacking to the proximity of the coast. He now volunteers with ski patrol at Crystal Mountain in the winter and enjoys woodworking, car projects, and flying airplanes in his spare time.

Phil and Scott plan to expand quickly, with a goal of owning all five Portland-area territories within two years and acquiring two additional ones in the first year, if possible.
