Hydro Jetting Services in Nashville, TN

What is Hydro-Jetting in Nashville?

Hydro jetting is a highly effective plumbing technique used to clear stubborn clogs and clean pipes. It involves using a high-pressure stream of water to remove blockages, debris, and build-up from the interior surfaces of your plumbing system. This method is ideal for both residential and commercial properties in Nashville, TN.

In addition to its powerful cleaning capabilities, hydro jetting is a preferred choice for property owners dealing with recurring drainage issues. The use of advanced equipment allows us to target problem areas throughout your plumbing, ensuring a comprehensive approach to drain maintenance that simple snaking cannot match. Residents in Nashville often encounter pipe blockages caused by seasonal weather patterns or debris common to the region, making regular hydrojetting in Nashville especially helpful for preventing inconvenient backups and protecting property value.

How Does Hydro-Jetting Work?

The process of hydro jetting involves inserting a specialized hose with a nozzle into the plumbing system. This nozzle emits a powerful jet of water, typically at pressures ranging from 3,000 to 8,000 PSI, which effectively breaks down and flushes away obstructions. The high-pressure water can navigate through bends and curves, ensuring a thorough cleaning of the entire pipe.

Benefits of Choosing Hydro Jetting for Your Plumbing

  • Comprehensive Cleaning: Removes all types of blockages, including grease, scale, and mineral deposits.
  • Environmentally Friendly: Uses only water, avoiding harsh chemicals.
  • Prevents Future Issues: Regular hydro jetting can prevent future clogs and extend the life of your plumbing system.
  • Effective for Tree Roots: Powerful enough to cut through tree roots that may invade your pipes.

Common Signs You May Need Hydro Jetting in Nashville

Understanding when you should consider hydro jetting services is vital for protecting your property’s plumbing. Blockages don’t always present themselves in obvious ways—sometimes you might notice slow drainage in your kitchen or bathrooms, or hear strange gurgling sounds from your pipes. In Nashville, factors such as heavy rain, older infrastructure, and deep-rooted trees can contribute to unique local plumbing issues that benefit from early intervention. Residents around Germantown or historic districts may also encounter buildup in pipes due to aging materials and neighborhood landscaping.

When these symptoms are present or if you notice frequent clogs despite clearing efforts, it may be time to contact a local provider for an assessment. Waterjetting in Nashville is particularly useful for properties with large families, businesses that process food, or homes surrounded by older trees common in neighborhoods like Green Hills and Belle Meade. Addressing these indicators early can prevent more serious plumbing emergencies and ensure your pipes continue to function efficiently.

Some common signals that hydro jetting may be needed include:

  • Slow or standing water: Sinks, tubs, or toilets that take an unusually long time to drain
  • Recurring clogs: Multiple blockages within a short period, even after conventional treatments
  • Unpleasant odors: Sewer or musty smells coming from drains or around the property
  • Noisy plumbing: Gurgling or bubbling sounds in pipes can suggest trapped air or blockage
  • Visible backups: Water or waste coming up from drains or toilets, especially during heavy rain storms

Robert Shepner
I had an excellent experience with Zoom Drain. Garrett Foster came out the same day I called and provided a free estimate to replace a failing underground black corrugated pipe connected to my gutter system. He recommended upgrading to solid white PVC, which I really appreciated since it’s a much more durable and long-term solution. He also replaced the old pop-up emitter with a new green one. Best of all, he completed the entire job the same day. The work was done professionally and efficiently, and everything is now working properly and ready for my new gutter system installation. Garrett was knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Zoom Drain to anyone dealing with drainage issues.
Pamela Martin
Adam showed up quickly, was very courteous, he worked quickly and got my problems fixed. The only reason it was not five stars was the cost—over $1K to unclog two drains with no heroic work done. He was here about 2 hours. Again, no problem with Adam or his work. The company just sets prices high.
Mark Strebe
My sister and I recently inherited our grandparents’ home (built in 1962), and let’s just say…the plumbing was rough. The old galvanized pipes were causing all kinds of issues—our sink would overflow when the washer ran, the dishwasher wouldn’t drain properly, and the drains were constantly backing up. Thankfully, Garrett and Adam came to the rescue! They spent the entire day at our house, really taking their time to make sure everything was done right. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their work and making sure you get the best value for your money. We were both so impressed—not just with the results, but with how kind, professional, and thorough they were throughout the whole process. We’re incredibly grateful for their help in getting our home back to how it should be. Highly recommend!
Bailey McMahan
Just WOW! This company far exceeded our expectations. We called a few weeks ago for a drain backup. Adam came out and spent several hours flushing/rooting out the drain. Everything was working. Seemed good. Yesterday, the water backed up in the downstairs shower and the laundry drain. Adam came back out first thing today and spent 4 hours working on it. Important to note - this was considered warranty work and there was zero charge. Hours more labor involved. Plumber had to lift out a toilet and replace the wax ring and bolts. Had to work from various drain entrance locations to work around rusted shut cast iron cleanouts/trap areas. Adam was personable and tidy and did not try to upsell us on anything. Best possible experience for an icky problem. Worth every penny!
Melanie Martin
Adam is amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Great company!

My plumbing is on a concrete slab, and Adam with Zoom did a quick and thorough job. I would definitely recommend Zoom.
Willie Dorsett
I believe the real measure of the integrity of a contracting service is not revealed by the successful, easy jobs. It’s the ones that really challenge the service provider’s capabilities and profit that will truly show you the culture of a company. I had a full stoppage drain in my upstairs guest bathtub. My assumption was that this would be an easy fix by use of a snake or a hydro jet system. So I called my home warranty company, who dispatched a plumbing service within their network. However, they were unable to clear the drain and asked the warranty company to refer the job on to another service with additional capabilities. That company arrived a few days later and was also unable to access the clog. I was beginning to realize this was an exceptional problem. A third plumber was assigned, who could not arrive until the following week. As were the other two, he was extremely confident he could resolve the problem. But it was beginning to become apparent that a poorly designed drain installation was making access to the clog impossible to reach. Plumber #3 also left defeated and without a suggestion for solution. At this point, my home warranty company informed me that they were out of in-network providers and authorized me to seek an out-of-network service provider, with a rather modest pre-approved budget. Enter Adam from Zoom Drain in Nashville. They have the most advanced hydro jet system I have seen and were also confident they could easily clear the issue. But again, the design and access foiled Adam’s efforts. But instead of dashing on to the next easier job, like the previous contractors, Adam stayed and worked with me to assess the routing of this rogue drain in order to come up with an alternate solution. He was on property for roughly four hours. Adam took some pictures and promised to consult with others back at the shop to come up with an alternate plan to resolve the issue. And because there was no solution or resolution to the problem, there was no charge for the service call from Zoom Drain. We set up an appointment a few days later for a conference call to discuss alternate solutions. We talked, exchanged pictures, and agreed on a plan to take a different approach. Once we determined a plan, I was sent a new (quite reasonable) estimate, and Adam arrived the same day. As before, he was extremely conscientious of protecting my carpets and flooring while moving equipment and tools in and out of my home. Adam worked for several hours and managed to finally clear the clog, and then spent an additional hour helping me trace the line so that I would have knowledge of it in case of further issue. When I was presented with the final bill, Adam informed me that the job did not require the more expensive hydro jet service I had previously agreed to, and presented me with a bill that was substantially less than the estimate agreed to that morning. It even included an unsolicited senior discount. So I will end this review as I started. This wasn’t an easy job. But the real measure of a contracting service is how they handle the tough ones. And for that reason, I would unconditionally recommend Adam and Zoom Drain of Nashville. Because, when hiring a contractor to work on your home, integrity is everything.
Steve Rosefield

Mary
Great service from start to finish. The technician explained what the problem was and went right to work. Highly recommend for any clogged drains that you may have.
Josh Hobson
Adam with Zoom Drain did a great job. Super friendly, professional and explained everything he was doing. I had 4 previous plumbers who snaked the drain and the clog kept appearing after about 4 months. I had no idea the high pressure water was the answer to clearing the entire drain but it makes perfect sense. The snake just mixes up the clog but the high pressure water pushes the clogged debris all the way through the system. Hopefully this is the answer and I won’t have any future problems.😊🤞
Gayle Smith
We had a great experience with Zoom Drain! Adam came out to give us a quote for cleaning our downspouts and repairing a broken pipe. The quote was very reasonable, and we were able to get everything taken care of the same day, which I really appreciated. Adam was easy to talk to, listened to all of my questions, and answered them patiently without making me feel rushed. Overall, smooth process and solid service. Would definitely recommend!
