Signs You Need Sewer Repair Near Me
Early detection of sewer issues can prevent extensive damage and costly repairs. Some typical signs indicating the need for sewer repair include:
- Persistent Odors: Unpleasant smells around your property could signal a sewer line problem.
- Slow Drains: If your sinks, showers, or tubs drain slowly, this may indicate a blockage in the sewer line.
- Unusual Sounds: Gurgling noises in your pipes can suggest air trapped by an obstruction.
- Lush Patches of Grass: Unexpected green spots in your yard sometimes indicate an underground sewer leak.
- Recurring Blockages: Frequent clogs often signal more serious sewer line issues.
In addition to these warning signs, consider the impact of seasonal changes. Roots from nearby trees tend to grow during warmer months, and these roots can break into sewer lines. Root intrusion is common around Nashville and requires inspections and fast intervention to restore proper function to your system throughout the year.

I believe the real measure of the integrity of a contracting service is not revealed by the successful, easy jobs. It’s the ones that really challenge the service provider’s capabilities and profit that will truly show you the culture of a company. I had a full stoppage drain in my upstairs guest bathtub. My assumption was that this would be an easy fix by use of a snake or a hydro jet system. So I called my home warranty company, who dispatched a plumbing service within their network. However, they were unable to clear the drain and asked the warranty company to refer the job on to another service with additional capabilities. That company arrived a few days later and was also unable to access the clog. I was beginning to realize this was an exceptional problem. A third plumber was assigned, who could not arrive until the following week. As were the other two, he was extremely confident he could resolve the problem. But it was beginning to become apparent that a poorly designed drain installation was making access to the clog impossible to reach. Plumber #3 also left defeated and without a suggestion for solution. At this point, my home warranty company informed me that they were out of in-network providers and authorized me to seek an out-of-network service provider, with a rather modest pre-approved budget. Enter Adam from Zoom Drain in Nashville. They have the most advanced hydro jet system I have seen and were also confident they could easily clear the issue. But again, the design and access foiled Adam’s efforts. But instead of dashing on to the next easier job, like the previous contractors, Adam stayed and worked with me to assess the routing of this rogue drain in order to come up with an alternate solution. He was on property for roughly four hours. Adam took some pictures and promised to consult with others back at the shop to come up with an alternate plan to resolve the issue. And because there was no solution or resolution to the problem, there was no charge for the service call from Zoom Drain. We set up an appointment a few days later for a conference call to discuss alternate solutions. We talked, exchanged pictures, and agreed on a plan to take a different approach. Once we determined a plan, I was sent a new (quite reasonable) estimate, and Adam arrived the same day. As before, he was extremely conscientious of protecting my carpets and flooring while moving equipment and tools in and out of my home. Adam worked for several hours and managed to finally clear the clog, and then spent an additional hour helping me trace the line so that I would have knowledge of it in case of further issue. When I was presented with the final bill, Adam informed me that the job did not require the more expensive hydro jet service I had previously agreed to, and presented me with a bill that was substantially less than the estimate agreed to that morning. It even included an unsolicited senior discount. So I will end this review as I started. This wasn’t an easy job. But the real measure of a contracting service is how they handle the tough ones. And for that reason, I would unconditionally recommend Adam and Zoom Drain of Nashville. Because, when hiring a contractor to work on your home, integrity is everything.Steve Rosefield

Adam did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, was courteous and very thorough. He made sure I understood the issues with my plumbing and presented alternative next steps and the pros and cons of each alternative.Mary
Great service from start to finish. The technician explained what the problem was and went right to work. Highly recommend for any clogged drains that you may have.Josh Hobson
Adam with Zoom Drain did a great job. Super friendly, professional and explained everything he was doing. I had 4 previous plumbers who snaked the drain and the clog kept appearing after about 4 months. I had no idea the high pressure water was the answer to clearing the entire drain but it makes perfect sense. The snake just mixes up the clog but the high pressure water pushes the clogged debris all the way through the system. Hopefully this is the answer and I won’t have any future problems.😊🤞Gayle Smith
We had a great experience with Zoom Drain! Adam came out to give us a quote for cleaning our downspouts and repairing a broken pipe. The quote was very reasonable, and we were able to get everything taken care of the same day, which I really appreciated. Adam was easy to talk to, listened to all of my questions, and answered them patiently without making me feel rushed. Overall, smooth process and solid service. Would definitely recommend!Nikki B.
Great service, handled with courtesy. Timely response, done thoroughly. Adam was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing to correct a very difficult sewage backup. I will recommend them to anyone who is in need of this type of service.Jim Hellier

Adam did a great job with the drain problem. Thanks.BJ P
Adam was great. He arrived when we were told he would and accessed the problem quickly and resolved the clog. Another pipe that was corroded and a previous occupant repaired with duct tape was replaced. Great service. We'll call Zoom from now on. Thanks.Marianne Hunnicutt
Adam was a great guy and a competent plumbing tech. Very polite and responsive. Got our shower drain cleared and a leak from the P-trap taken care of. This is the second time we have engaged Zoom Drain. I will definitely call on this company again for drain issues.Brandon Boyd
We had a major clog in a main discharge pipe, and Adam and Garrett had amazing teamwork working together to get it unclogged. They went down at the bottom of the driveway and sprayed with their machine, 3500 PSI on that end, and pulled both toilets and snaked them, put them back in place. Also, they went into the crawlspace and disconnected some of the lines and sprayed 3500 PSI of water and busted up all this crazy grease and oil that was built up in that junction and sprayed it all out. The house was built in 1962, so I guess it was quite a buildup and they did an amazing job. I couldn’t thank them enough. I would highly recommend them. They go the extra mile. They’re very respectful and very professional how they work together. Thank you so much, Adam and Garrett, more than five stars. How many stars do you want to give them, honey? 10 star, my wife just said 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️David Hill
Garrett did a super job, and thanks for sending him and Adam on the last trip.Johnnie Caples
