Signs You May Need Sewer Repair & How We Help
Understanding the signs of a defective sewer line early can save you from significant headaches later. Key indicators include:
- Persistent Foul Odors: Sewer gas smells lingering around your property can signal leaks or blockages in the system.
- Slow Drains & Recurring Clogs: Issues with multiple drains may indicate a larger problem within your sewer line.
- Gurgling Noises in Pipes: This usually suggests trapped air due to a blockage.
- Lush Patches in the Yard: Abnormally green areas may be caused by sewer line leaks fertilizing the soil.
- Foundation Cracks or Settling: These can result from severe sewer line leaks undermining your property’s foundation.
While these indicators are common, the underlying causes can vary, requiring professional diagnosis to ensure accurate sewer repairs. Homeowners should also be aware of environmental factors, like recent heavy rains or flooding, that might exacerbate these issues. For Gloucester County's residents, the high water table and occasional weather-related flooding can significantly affect sewer line integrity, leading to a more frequent need for maintenance and monitoring.

Brad and Chris were great to work with. On time and worked efficiently. They kept me in the loop as they did the job. Would recommend them highly.Joseph Lizzi
They recently repaired a sewer pipe in my yard. They did an excellent job! Left the job site as they found it. Had a follow-up call with a plugged line; they came right out to check on it! Turned out to be the township main, but they were helpful and reassuring. Nice, honest people to work with.🌞Bruce Erdman
Chris E. came out in spite of the late hour, solved our problem, and was very professional and courteous!Christina Treutler
Called Zoom to install new faucets on double sink and double shower heads. They scheduled within a week and verified the day before and called when they were on the way over. Technician was great and told us what his plan was and the price. Had to come back the next day with special tool to finish and was done within the hour. We have used them before and again had excellent service and communication. Thank you and would definitely use again.Steve Avis
We used Zoom Drain South Jersey for an estimate. Joe was very professional and knowledgeable!zahra alber

Great experience with Zoom Drain. Two professional technicians came out when they said they would, gave me a straightforward diagnosis and fix all in a few hours. No nonsense and the technicians were transparent about what they were doing, very impressed.Michael Slifer
The gentleman they sent out was on time, organized, and let us know everything he was going to do, and the price, made for no surprise costs. I felt he even went above and beyond his scope of work to try and help us. We were very appreciative of that. I would recommend Zoom to friends and family, and anyone that has plumbing issues. I do everything myself, so it's difficult for me to ask for help. Decided to throw in the towel and call someone local. They came that day. My house drainage system is unique. They said they never saw anything like it. They gave me 2 options and recommended the less expensive one. I gave them the go-ahead and whatever assistance I could. They got it draining and I was happy, but they weren't. They got a larger snake and did it all over again. I haven't seen it drain like that in 20 years. They stuck a camera in it and showed my problem was roots. I was sure it was sediment because everything in my basement drains through it. My thanks to Chris and Joe for all their effort. They will be called next time I see it slow and will have them repair it permanently. Thank you for tolerating me and hope I got your names right. Couldn't be happier.Matthew Sailey
Cleared out a clogged toilet drain. A little sloppy and messy but got the job done.Norman Unsworth
The tech was courteous, efficient, and thorough. We appreciate your quick response to our request.Kristin Abele
Zoom Drain came out same day when my sewer pipe was backing up into my backyard! There was 7 inches of snow on the ground and they still came out and got the job done in no time. And their price was cheaper than the other quotes I got! Can’t recommend them enough!Olivia Accordino
We used Zoom Drain since our local plumber was not available on the weekend. Nothing was draining from the second floor, and we needed Saturday service. The price to come out to the house was $100, which I think is fair for a Saturday. The service technician was friendly and arrived on time. The estimate to clear this clog was on the high end when I researched online. Luckily, it cleared before the repair—I guess the chemical treatment I used finally kicked in. I would call again in an emergency but would stick to my local plumber otherwise due to the estimate given for this repair.Lisa Kunkle
I wanted to leave a wonderful review for Zoom Drain service. We had a major sewer drain malfunction that required a 74 ft length of the drain to be replaced. Brad and his staff at Zoom Drain, which included two crews, did everything possible to avoid having to replace the pipe. Ultimately, it had to be replaced and other repairs had to take place. Our drain was incredibly old. I couldn’t say enough good things about the service that was received. The crew hung in there and stayed till 11:30 at night to restore service to our system. As a business owner, I am incredibly impressed how dedicated the staff of Zoom Drain was to helping us get back to full function. I would strongly recommend their service. They have incredible equipment and highly trained staff. Whether you have a simple clog in a toilet or need something major done with your sewer system, Zoom is definitely the company to choose.Paul DeLaney, DC
The plumber was very nice and knowledgeable. I do feel like it was more on the expensive side for just a clean out.Kathleen Lemke
