Emergency Sewer Repair in Springfield, PA
Drain & Sewer Specialists Serving Delaware County
When a sewer line fails, you need a team that handles nothing else. Zoom Drain of Delaware County focuses solely on drain and sewer services for residential and commercial customers in Springfield, PA and throughout Delaware County, which means emergency sewer repair isn’t a side job for us. Our technicians arrive in Fully Equipped Trucks stocked with advanced diagnostic tools, ready to assess and address many issues on the first visit.
Springfield’s older housing stock, clay soil, and mature tree canopy put real stress on sewer laterals. Line failures here often come without much warning, and the gap between a slow drain and a full sewage backup can be short, so if something feels wrong, it’s worth a call.
Don’t wait for the situation to get worse. Call Zoom Drain of Delaware County now at (215) 716-1208 and get a drain and sewer technician on the way.Why Springfield Homeowners & Businesses Call Us First
A sewer emergency puts two fears front and center: what this is going to cost and who’s coming into your home. We address both directly. Our Flat-Rate Pricing means you get a clear number before any work begins, with no surprise charges added because the call came in after hours or the job ran long. And every technician we dispatch is one of our Certified, Background-Checked Technicians, so you know exactly who’s at your door.
Our Sewer and Drain focus sets us apart from general plumbers. Every person we send has been trained specifically in sewer and drain diagnosis and repair. We use high-pressure water jetting, video pipe inspection, and pipe locators to pinpoint problems fast and handle them accurately. We protect your property during service and keep disruption to a minimum.
What’s Considered a Sewer Line Emergency?
Not every slow drain is an emergency. These situations are:
- Multiple fixtures backing up simultaneously: When toilets, sinks, and tubs all drain slowly or back up at once, the problem can be in the main sewer line, not a single fixture.
- Sewage backup entering the building: Contaminated water inside a home or business poses immediate health hazards from bacterial exposure and requires fast professional response.
- Foul odors indoors or outside: A persistent sewer smell can signal a crack or break in the line, not just a surface clog.
- Pipe collapse: A collapsed line disrupts drainage and can’t be resolved without professional diagnosis and repair.
- Tree root infiltration: Established neighborhoods in Springfield and Drexel Hill have mature trees whose roots can work into sewer laterals, causing partial or complete blockages that worsen over time.
Older cast iron, galvanized, and clay pipes common in the Springfield, PA area are more susceptible to sudden failures. Warning signs are worth acting on quickly rather than monitoring.

Anthony was prompt and professional. He explained what he was about to do and shared the literal outcome of his service. After thoroughly servicing our sewer line, he deemed that he believed the clog was in the township's sewer line. He contacted the township and shared with them his findings. He remained on site until the township completed cleaning the blockage. I would highly recommend Zoom and Anthony in particular in the future.Dawn Dankanich
Very timely response, and Tony explained what he was doing and also a good summary when he finished.Sharon Parker
Antonio was excellent. He professionally cleaned out our French drain from roots and debris. He also located cracks in the pipe that will need to be replaced. The drain flows freely now, and we do not expect any more problems with water in our basement thanks to his excellent work.Michael DiPaolo
Ryan was very professional and committed to do everything he could to complete the job fully, even though it took longer than he had anticipated in the beginning. Would welcome him back anytime.Steve Fedorov
Ben was so professional and helpful! A pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!T G
This is the third time we have used Zoom Drain to resolve a clogged pipe. Angel arrived during the scheduled time and explained everything before starting. We are happy to have working plumbing again before the holiday weekend.Kevin Norfleet
I couldn't be happier with MJ or his service. I was told by a different service that the sewer pipe was broken in the yard after a few hours of work and it would require digging up the yard to fix/replace it... very costly. Wanting a second opinion/confirmation, I called Zoom and a few hours later MJ arrived. I told him what was going on, what work had been done and what I had been told. He listened, asked a few questions and told me the clog was probably after the trap under the street and not a broken pipe. About 45 minutes later, after some camera work and high-pressure jet cleaning, the clog was gone and pipes clear at extremely significantly less cost than digging up the yard. MJ was very professional, listened, explained everything clearly and obviously knew what he was doing. Will immediately contact Zoom again should the need arise with confidence the job will get done.John H
Cody came out in bad weather to open up a clogged landscape drain. He explained the process and got the drain running again. I’d highly recommend Cody and this Zoom Drain’s excellent service.Sara Matthews
They did a great job clearing my clogged sewer line. The technician Lawrence was super nice and explained everything to us. He got the line cleared and got us back to normal on a Sunday, no less. I have to be honest, I called several companies to come out, and Zoom Drain was the only company that even responded to us! I would definitely use them again!Robert Paoletti
Mr. Jarrett did an outstanding job locating the problem and explaining what was occurring. He got water flowing again and carefully explained next steps. Mr. Jarrett is a gem. Careful, respectful, fantastic sense of humor, and knows his job well. This gentleman is a fantastic representative for your company.Sharon Mallick

Ryan made several diligent attempts and was ultimately able to get a camera past the trap during a sewer lateral inspection, where other plumbers had quickly given up. He previously accomplished this at another one of my listings as well. Moving forward, Zoom Drain will be my first call for any sewer lateral inspections!Cyndi Chong Realtor
Ryan is a true professional and a great guy! He made sure that our line was clear, going above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. He ran up and down our steps and was very courteous to the neighbor kids. I would absolutely recommend him and Zoom Drain! Of course, this kind of service costs money… lots of money. But if you have to do it, Ryan and Zoom Drain are the right choice! Thanks, Ryan!Mike Westrate
