Comprehensive Commercial Pump Services
With a focus on quality and reliability, Zoom Drain of Maryland provides a complete range of pump services for commercial properties:
- Sump Pumps: Essential for preventing flooding in basements, garages, and other areas where water can accumulate, sump pumps remove water that gathers in a sump basin, keeping your property safe from water damage.
- Sewage Ejector Pumps: For buildings with bathrooms or laundry facilities below the main sewer line, sewage ejector pumps transport wastewater from lower levels to the main sewer line, preventing backflows and maintaining efficient drainage.
- Grinder Pumps: Ideal for commercial properties in areas where solid waste needs to be broken down before reaching the main sewer line. Grinder pumps reduce solid waste and prevent clogs, especially in high-use settings like restaurants and manufacturing facilities.
- Effluent Pumps: Designed for use in septic systems, effluent pumps move gray water from the septic tank to the drain field, supporting effective wastewater management and preventing backups.
- Battery Backup Pumps: For continuous protection, battery backup pumps provide emergency water removal during power outages or primary pump failures, ensuring your facility stays dry even in unexpected situations.
With advanced tools and expertise, Zoom Drain ensures each pump installation, repair, or replacement meets the unique demands of commercial environments.
The Importance of Proper Pump Installation & Maintenance
Reliable pump installation and regular maintenance are essential for flood prevention and efficient wastewater management in commercial facilities. Zoom Drain’s professional installation ensures your system is configured for optimal performance, providing the following benefits:
- Flood Prevention: Properly installed sump pumps protect your property from water damage, avoiding costly repairs and safeguarding valuable assets.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Effective wastewater management reduces health risks associated with standing water, mold growth, and contaminated areas.
- Prolonged Equipment Life: Routine maintenance and quality installation extend the lifespan of your pump systems, helping avoid costly replacements and ensuring continuous operation.
With Zoom Drain of Maryland, you can count on pumps that are installed and maintained to handle the demands of any commercial facility, from restaurants and office buildings to manufacturing sites.

You typically get reviews from people when they just got work done, and you can only measure it by that time frame. This review, on the other hand, is not that. Zoom Drain came to replace my sewer line in 2017, yes 2017. When flushing the toilet, the water would spill into the basement, so I would have to clean up the water and whatever else came with it. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. I called Zoom Drain, and they came to the rescue. It’s been so long, but I believe it was James who came and was so professional and had great customer service. His team was amazing. They fixed the line and cleaned out. Fast forward to 2025, it is still working properly. I have no issues. I'm so pleased. Please use them because their work is amazing.Fancy Belle
Zoom Drain replaced my main sewer line, 1/8/25. 50 feet of new pipe, as well as replaced a fitting on my water heater that was leaking and the flex line (gas), which if they were not knowledgeable, I would have never have caught. They noticed it was slowly leaking natural gas. James came out for sewer line estimate, and informed me on everything that needed to be done. I was stressed because I hate dealing with my insurance company. However, Allison in the office took over all of that stress and dealt with my insurance company directly. I did receive another estimate from another company, and Zoom was cheaper by 3200.00. I had no issues with the 3-man crew that was sent to do my sewer line and the man who fixed the inside gas issue I had, (thank God he noticed it!!!!!) was wonderful. They even called to check in on me a week later which is why I'm leaving this review because I feel like they really did go above and beyond.James Potter
As a plumber, I hate to call another plumber (I don't specialize in drain cleaning), but I must say I appreciate the customer service I was provided. I can also say that I met three technicians that are qualified individuals. Thanks for your help Zoom Drain. From one plumber to another, y'all rock!Richard keefer
5 stars on customer service unclogging my bathroom sink, fair price, also I would recommend them to everyone.Jeff Burnette
Rafael and Carlos arrived within a few hours to deal with a clogged toilet that was leaking water into the room below. Quick, efficient, and kind. (And not expensive!) Highly recommend.Christie St. Clair
I cannot say enough great things about James and his team at Zoom Drain. From the first time we used their services, we were very much pleased with their work. James and his team were able to diagnose a major problem in our church plumbing and provided a solution. If you ever need a reliable plumbing service, absolutely without a doubt give Zoom Drain a call. James and his team will not disappoint you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Sherrie Miller
